Windermere Cafe is closed for the winter. The Cafe will reopen on 13th October.

Windermere Farm's cafe and shop is open for the duration of the season, every day 9am to 5pm, until the end of April when we close the cafe over winter.

Windermere's café features a blackboard all-day brunch and lunch menu, as well as cabinet food, freshly baked muffins and scones, and a range of gluten free menu options. We make fantastic espresso coffees, real fruit smoothies, and our sumptuous berry fruit ice creams.

Windermere is famous for our buttermilk pancakes, served with crispy bacon and caramelised banana, drizzled with maple syrup and berry fruit sauce, topped with plenty of fresh berries and your choice of cream or yogurt. Please note that our grill (Pancakes and Eggs Benedict) closes at 2pm.

In a hurry and travelling through Whanganui? We provide fast and friendly service to our travelling customers, with coffee to take away. Windermere's shop features our farm grown berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries in season) as well as our own jams, wines and honey.

We also have a selection of specialty food products including St.Andrews Limes, L'affare products and a range of gifts and accessories.

Bookings are not needed for the cafe, however for a group of more than 8 people, send a text message to 0274222333, with the name, number of people, date, time as well as any special requirements

Our delicious range of brunch meals are available from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm. We look forward to seeing you at the farm!

Each plate has two pancakes with a topping of either cream or natural yogurt with fresh berries, maple syrup, and a berry reduction. Grill closes at 2pm.
